TORONTO (AP) -- David Beckham missed his scheduled Major League Soccer debut. He's in street clothes for the Los Angeles Galaxy's game at Toronto FC tonight.

Beckham is still bothered by a sore left ankle that he hurt on June 6th. He says he's at least 7 to 10 days from being able to start.

Los Angeles is on an MLS trip that takes it to D.C. United on Thursday and the New England Revolution next Sunday.
