Overnight Stabbing Injures Five
At least 5 people are hospitalized overnight after a man and his mother try to get to the man's common law wife. It happened shortly after 1 a.m. Friday at the Riviera West Apartments at 47th and Jackson.
Tulsa Police officers say a man with a knife and machete tried to break into the woman's apartment. The woman went to neighbors for help and several people were cut trying to keep the man away from the woman. Police say the woman then barricaded herself in her apartment, but the suspect broke in and cut the woman’s feet as she tried to keep a door closed on him.
As the man and his mother left, 2 other people were also injured. None of the injuries are life threatening. Both the mother and son are in custody.
Shot In The Foot
Tulsa Police are searching for the suspect who shot a man in the foot overnight. About 2 a.m. Friday, police officers responded to the 1300 block of North Cheyenne. There they found the victim, who claims to have been shot near Apache and Cincinnati. The victim was taken to a Tulsa hospital. No word on the victim’s condition.
Shots Fired At An SUV
Tulsa Police were investigating a shots fired call in 2700 block of North Boston Place overnight. Upon arriving at the scene, police officers located a vehicle with several people inside. Police say someone had fired into the SUV. No one in the SUV was hurt.
A short time later, Tulsa Police recovered a stolen car at a nearby car wash. Police say it has not been determined if the vehicle was connected to the previous incident.
Shots Fired At A Home
Tulsa Police officers are looking for a suspect who fired several shots into a Tulsa home overnight. The incident happened in the 1700 block of North 24th West Avenue. A woman and her son were inside of the home at the time of the shooting, but we are not hurt. Police do not have a motive.
Convenience Store Robbed
A search is underway for a suspect who robbed an eastside Tulsa convenience store overnight. Tulsa Police say a black male wearing a nylon stocking over his face pulled a gun on the clerk at a store at 21st and Mingo.
Police say the suspect demanded cash and then ran off. Police officers say the clerk was hurt.
