OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Congresswoman Mary Fallin says there's still a lot of work to be done in Iraq and that Americans are running out of patience with the conflict that is now more than four years old. Fallin is in Germany Monday after traveling to Iraq for the first time over the weekend.
The Oklahoma Republican was on a on a two-day ``whirlwind trip'' of the Iraqi cities of Baghdad and Ramadi as part of a delegation of six freshman members of Congress.
Fallin says she was ``pleasantly surprised by the progress we've been making in Iraq'' and believes that President Bush's troop increase is helping to bring more order to the country.
But she says there's still a a lot of work to do and Americans expect more progress. Fallin says Iraq is not an open-ended conflict for America.
