STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) -- The results of a year-long study into making Oklahoma State a more diverse campus were presented to OSU regents Friday.
The proposals include increasing the number of students studying abroad and bringing more international students to campus. Other recommendations include developing courses on diversity and improving scholarships for non-traditional and lower socioecnomic students.
OSU officials say the number of Native American, African-American, Asian and Hispanic students make up less than 18% of the U.S. born student body at the university.
