There have been two bank robbery attempts in just two days. Police believe the same man is responsible for both of them. The latest attempt happened at the IBC Bank on east 51st Street. Police tell us, while a man was waiting in line, a teller asked him to remove his hat and sunglasses. They say, when the man removed his sunglasses, the teller noticed he looked like the man in a surveillance picture taken at an IBC Bank on east Skelly Drive Friday.
Police say the man didn't get away with any money Friday, which also happened in Saturday’s case, but police now know more about the suspect. They say witnesses saw the man drive off in a red Pontiac.
FBI agents are looking for two men who hit another IBC bank Friday in Oklahoma City. The surveillance pictures show two men walking into the bank with guns drawn.
We're told no one was hurt during the robbery.
