OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) -- The Golden State Warriors re-signed guard Kelenna Azubuike on Tuesday.
The former standout at Victory Christian School in Tulsa, Oklahoma, played in 41 games with Golden State as a rookie last season, starting nine times while averaging 7.1 points and 2.3 rebounds per game.
The Warriors picked up the former Kentucky player in January from the NBA Development League, which he led with a 26-point scoring average at the time of his callup.
Azubuike also played on the Warriors' summer league team in Las Vegas earlier this month, averaging 21 points, 6 rebounds and 2.5 assists in two games.
