RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil (AP) _ Samantha Woodward of Edmond qualified Tuesday for the finals of the 50 meter freestyle in the Pan American Games in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.

Woodward swam the fifth fastest overall time at 25.74 seconds.

The finals will be Wednesday starting at 8 p.m.

Woodward will be a senior this fall at Edmond Memorial.
