Local Man Featured In Toyota Commercial

A Green Country man will soon be featured in a commercial for the Toyota Tundra. Mike Avant recently purchased the 2007 truck and was chosen from 6,000 new truck owners to be featured in a television commercial. The commercial will show Avant using the truck in a tractor pull and to haul hay and cattle.

We stopped in to get a sneak peak at the taping and met Avant, who says the experience is a little different than what he's used to.

"These guys are just super positive and ladies too. Being pampered, my face wiped, it's been really different for me, being an old country boy. It's really different,â€ Avant said.

Avant is in the Automotive Repair Technology program at OSU Okmulgee.
