Charges Dropped Against Wife Who Allegedly Shot Husband

A woman no longer faces charges for shooting her husband, the former Delaware County Sheriff. The district attorney dropped the shooting with intent to kill charge Thursday against Candyce Woodruff.

A woman no longer faces charges for shooting her husband, the former Delaware County Sheriff. The district attorney dropped the shooting with intent to kill charge Thursday against Candyce Woodruff. Sheâ€™s been in the Delaware County jail since the June 17th shooting.

Her husband, Lenden Woodruff, got out of the hospital a few weeks ago, but has refused to give investigators a statement about the shooting.
