Sand Springs Police are investigating a near drowning in Sand Springs. Police say over the noon hour Tuesday, a 2-year-old child was found unconscious in an above ground pool in the backyard of a home in the 2800 block of South Maple Drive.
Sand Springs firefighters were able to resuscitate the toddler. Police say the child was flown by medical helicopter to a Tulsa hospital.
