MOSCOW (AP) _ Oklahoma standout Courtney Paris helps the United States' under-21 women's basketball team record a 96-40 rout of Brazil Saturday in the world championships in Moscow.

Paris had 14 points and a team-high 9 rebounds for the U.S. squad, which is 2-0 in the tournament.

The junior-to-be at OU keyed an early 13-2 run by the U.S. with 5 points and a pair of offensive rebounds. That spurt gave the U.S. a 17-5 lead and Brazil never threatened again.

Maryland standout Crystal Langhorne went 9-9 from the field and led the U.S. with 19 points.

The U.S. will play Hungary Sunday and Spain on Tuesday in group play. The quarterfinals are set for July 6th, with the semifinals on the 7th and the championship game on the 8th.
