NORMAN, Okla. (AP) -- A 57-year-old Norman woman is facing a host of drug charges after police discovered a hallucinogenic mushroom growing operation inside a central Norman home.
Deborah Kolch was charged yesterday with five felony drug counts, including cultivation of the illegal fungus.
Police raided the house on Thursday and found more than 24 pounds of mushrooms, some growing and others dried and ready to sell. Two rooms inside the home apparently had been converted for growing the psilocybin mushrooms.
