WAGONER, Okla. (AP) _ Flooding prompted state officials to close several highways today in northeast Oklahoma.
The Oklahoma Department of Transportation says state Highways 16 and 51 near Wagoner both were closed because of water in the roadway. Also, State Highway 104 near the U-S 64 junction has been shut down north of Haskell in Muskogee County.
Heavy rains in the area this morning prompted the National Weather Service to issue a flood warning until 2 p-m, but officials there say the rain and the flooding is subsiding.
