A Catoosa mother continues her crusade to save her daughter's pre-kindergarten class. In May the school district cut the 4-year-old program to help make up a $200,000 deficit. Marti Jackson launched a website, savecatoosaprek.com, to raise the money to keep the program. She's got about $5,000 in local commitments, and on Friday night she’s holding her first Save Catoosa Pre-K fundraiser. The 3-Way Spaghetti Benefit Dinner & Dessert Auction is Friday night at the Catoosa Masonic Lodge #185, located at 109 E. Denbo. The dinner is $5 per person and begins at 5 p.m. All proceeds will be donated to the Save Catoosa Pre-K Fund.
