MUSKOGEE, Okla. (AP) _ A former eastern Oklahoma school superintendent who is charged with embezzlement is appealing the State Board of Education's order revoking his teaching certificate and administrative certificate.
Former Marble City School Superintendent Larry Couch says in the appeal that the board wasn't given clear and convincing evidence he knowingly and willfully violated the state school code.
Couch faces felony charges of embezzling $100,000 from the school district.
