The search continues for a Tulsa woman who has been missing since Christmas Day 2005. A reward of $7,500 is now on the table to help find Karen Heim. The News On 6’s Dan Bewley reports her family is still holding on to hope that she will be found.

From roadside searches between Tulsa and Texas, even hiring a psychic, Karen Heim's family says they'll do whatever it takes to bring her home.

“It's a struggle everyday when I wake up to not just go crazy over this,” said Karen’s son, Ryan Underwood.

Ryan Underwood is missing his mom.

“You try to put on a smile and put on a good front but inside you're going crazy and you don't sleep,” said Karen’s sister, Kim Pollard.

Kim Pollard is missing her little sister.

“She use to always come over and help me prepare the dinner and she's not here and I miss that,” said Jackie Heim, Karen’s mom.

Jackie and Louis Heim are missing their daughter. Karen Heim hasn't been seen since a Christmas Day celebration two years ago. Heim's car was found near Clarksville, Texas, two days later. Sitting in the middle of the street, its doors and hood were open. Her purse was on the roof with her driver's license, social security card, and money still inside. Investigators have several theories, but no solid clues. They are still certain she was victim of foul play.

Karen’s family is far from giving up, adding another $2,000 to the reward.

“We'd like to keep this up front and not let it be buried and forgotten. Someone somewhere knows something and they may come forth. It may be a little something, but we could find Karen,” said Louis Heim, Karen’s father.

“It's not so much that I want to catch that person, it's I want to know where my mom is so I can put this to rest in my heart and my head,” said Karen’s son, Ryan Underwood.

The reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction is now up to $7,500. Callers can remain anonymous by calling Crimestoppers at 596-COPS.
