MUSKOGEE, Okla. (AP) -- Police are looking for a women who allegedly raised $450 bail for her boyfriend by stealing money off the desk of the Wagoner city treasurer. The woman, Carla Turner, 37, and Roy Wilson, 39, disappeared after Turner bonded Wilson out of jail.

Authorities say Turner took $17,000 in checks and cash off the treasurer's desk between 9:30 a.m. and 9:45 a.m. Wednesday.

Muskogee Police recovered a bank bag, including about $14,000 in checks, in a mail drop across from city hall. Mayor James Jennings said approximately $200 cash, in deposit books that weren't opened, also was recovered.

Wilson was in the Muskogee County jail for fighting.
