FAIRVIEW, Okla. (AP) -- Authorities in Major County say a 24-year-old man has died after being shot while arguing with his brother. Undersheriff Orlis Reames said the man had been arguing with his brother when he was shot by his sibling with a .45 automatic handgun north of Ames early Friday. He died early Saturday.
Undersheriff Reames wouldn't release the name of the victim or his brother. He says the deadly shooting still is under investigation and no arrests have been made.
Reames says the sheriff's office would consult with the district attorney's office this week to determine what, if any, charges will be filed.
The Undersheriff said the brothers were both residents of the area.
