OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ The U-S Equal Employment Opportunity Commission has filed federal sexual harassment lawsuits against a Texas-based company and a Seminole car dealership.
FleetPride, based in The Woodlands, Texas, is accused of violating federal discrimination laws. The lawsuit says it subjected a female employee to sexual harassment at the company's Oklahoma City facility.
The agency says she was fired from her receptionist and cashier job after complaining to management.
In the other complaint, United Motors allegedly subjected a female employee to sexual harassment and forced her to quit to avoid the hostile working environment.
The lawsuit says the 19-year-old woman was repeatedly subjected to requests for sexual favors, groping and lewd comments.
