OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ The Oklahoma Regents for Higher Education say a record number of students enrolled in state colleges and universities.
A preliminary report shows enrollment is up one-point-four percent this year to a total of 181,590 students. Enrollment last fall was just more than 179,000 students.
The report says the biggest increase in students is at regional universities.
Enrollment Oklahoma Panhandle State University at Goodwell is up by nearly 12%. Cameron University at Lawton reports a nearly 8.5% enrollment increase.
