A couple of early Monday morning chases keep Tulsa Police officers busy.

About midnight, police tried to stop a stolen vehicle on Sheridan. That's when the driver did a U-turn and rammed into a police car, then sped off.

Police soon caught up with the vehicle near 26th and Sheridan where the suspect tried to run away on foot. Officers found the suspect, and identified him as Aaron Warner. They took him into custody.

The officer in the rammed police unit was not hurt.

About two hours later, police tried to stop a car for an expired tag. That driver took off. Tulsa Police followed the car into a neighborhood in the 2000 block of East Young. The driver and a passenger ditched the car and ran away.

A search by officers of the area came up empty.
