PAULS VALLEY, Okla. (AP) _ A 50-year-old Pauls Valley man is dead after a one-car crash late last night on State Highway 77 in Garvin County.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Jackie Brown was northbound on 77 when his vehicle left the roadway, struck a culvert and went airborne for about 60 feet.

The O-H-P says Brown was ejected through the windshield after the vehicle hit a tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The report says Brown was not wearing a seat belt.
