DALLAS (AP) _ The Colorado Buffaloes are off Saturday, but there's plenty of other action as Big 12 conference games begin.
Kansas plays Texas Tech. It'll be the battle of the Jayhawks' stingy defense against the Red Raiders' national-leading passing team.
Kansas has allowed just 37 points while Texas Tech is averaging 463 yards per game.
Non-conference games involving Big 12 teams include fifth-ranked Texas at home against Rice and Baylor against North Texas.
The rest of the Big 12 has the weekend off before October begins with a full slate of games.
Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Colorado are the only teams without a loss after playing their three non-conference games.
