Tulsa teen arrested following shooting which sends a friend to the hospital

One person is in the hospital and another is in custody after a shooting Wednesday morning at an east Tulsa apartment complex.

Tulsa Police were called to the Brandywine Apartments at 4000 block of South 130th East Avenue around 10:30 AM. They found a 17 year-old in one of the apartments, he'd been shot in the back. He gave police a description of the suspect, and a few minutes later, officers arrested 18-year-old Rovon Lynn Banks.

Police say the pair were friends, so they're not sure what prompted the shooting. Officers are still looking for the gun.

No word on the victim's condition.
