OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ First lady Kim Henry launches the statewide Respect Diversity Art and Poster Contest tomorrow.
The First lady will be at Quail Creek Elementary School in Oklahoma City to read from the book ``The Crayon Box That Talked.''
Afterward, a Respect Diversity Foundation author and artist will guide students in writing poetry and creating three-dimensional works of art for the contest.
The nonprofit foundation started about four years ago to help teach students tolerance of other cultures.
Educators and community leaders are visiting schools across the state to encourage students to enter the contest. Last year's exhibit filled three galleries with artwork created by thousands of students.
