Robbery suspect arrested following high speed chase from Locust Grove to Catoosa

A man is in the Mayes County jail after going on a crime spree, including leading law enforcement on a chase Friday afternoon.

Mayes County Sheriffâ€™s deputies say the man was driving a stolen car that he took from a couple in Tulsa at knife point. He then drove to Catoosa where he hit another vehicle, and then took off to Locust Grove.

There, Locust Grove Police say he robbed the Dollar General Store and then led police on a chase back to Catoosa. The pursuit ended near 197th East Avenue and Pine where he was arrested.

Deputies say the suspect had a couple of guns, a warrant out for his arrest and just recently had been released from prison.
