TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ The University of Tulsa has a new assistant track and field coach.

Summer Hutcheson has been named to the post by head coach Steve Gulley.

In addition to day-to-day operations, Hutcheson will help golden Hurricane sprinters and field event athletes.

Hutcheson previously served as an assistant coach at Minot State University in Nebraska. She helped M-S-U's 2003 men's cross country squad to and N-A-I-A national championship,

Last season, Hutcheson coached one All-american in the 55 meters and a national semi-finalist in the 800 meters.
