Former NBA player Tucker will finish degree at the U of M

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) _ Former Gopher basketball star and eleven-year N-B-A veteran Trent Tucker is back at the University of Minnesota. <br/><br/>The 45-year-old Tucker is working toward completing his degree.

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) _ Former Gopher basketball star and eleven-year N-B-A veteran Trent Tucker is back at the University of Minnesota.

The 45-year-old Tucker is working toward completing his degree. He says he'd like to teach college basketball someday.

Tucker says he enjoys the level of talent in professional basketball, but the teaching aspect of college basketball intrigues him. And N-C-A-A rules require all coaches to have a college degree.

Tucker said he will probably graduate next spring or summer.
