Questions continue about the operations of Morton Comprehensive Health Services. The chief medical officer for the non-profit clinic system now says a federal representative from the agency that provides grant money to Morton is coming to Tulsa to help sort things out.

In the meantime, confusion over the status of the Nowata clinic has patients and workers concerned. Morton officials said the clinic would be open Monday but patients who called there were turned away.

Kimberly Koehlhoeffer says she went four days without her prescription. "Because they're not open no way to refill my meds. I end up in the Emergency Room to get the assistance I needed."

Nowata clinic workers say they're referring patients to Tulsa and that they were told they wouldn't have a care provider in Nowata until Thursday.

Morton Board Chair Lillian Watts-Ray is refusing comment, saying through a representative she'll have a clear message to deliver after a board meeting.
