An investigation is underway into the death of a Sapulpa man, who died while in a scuffle with police.

Sapulpa Police went to the home of 25 year old Darrell Wick. His cousin had just been arrested for stealing from a convenience store. Officers demanded Wick and his girlfriend come outside. When Wick refused, witnesses say the officers pulled him through a glass door.

Wick's throat was cut on a sharp piece of glass and he bled to death on his front porch.

Sapulpa Police haven't commented. And the Creek County District Attorney is investigating.

Records show Wick had a number of run-ins with police and some felony convictions.
