OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- A special legislative committee reconvened this morning to consider the impeachment of Insurance Commissioner Carroll Fisher.

It's the 15th time the committee has met since it was formed this spring. Five witnesses testified before the committee yesterday and at least four more are scheduled to testify today.

Fisher is under fire after a series of indictments and public reprimands.

The state Ethics Commission has reprimanded Fisher for soliciting regulated companies to donate office furniture and other ethical lapses.

A multicounty grand jury indicted Fisher in February on four felonies. A preliminary hearing on those charges began July 14.
