Tulsa's EMS system is making the grade as one of the best in the nation.

Last year, a report in USA Today praised Tulsa for having the fifth highest cardiac arrest survival rate.

Since 2001, the number of patients treated by EMSA who had heart trouble and survived is up 7%. That translates to about eight more lives saved.
