The American Red Cross is helping three families who were left homeless after a fire at a south Tulsa apartment complex early Wednesday morning.

Fire investigators say the fire at the Cobblestone Apartment complex near 51st and Memorial may have started on a second floor balcony and spread to a third apartment. That unit was destroyed and several others have smoke and water damage.

One person suffered some burns on their feet.
