NORMAN (AP) -- Police are searching for a Newalla man accused of kidnapping and raping a 13-year-old Oklahoma City girl at Lake Thunderbird.

Jeffrey Jack Davis is wanted on charges of first-degree rape, rape by instrumentation, lewd molestation, forcible sodomy and kidnapping.

State park rangers say Davis is a convicted sex offender who has served time in prison on rape convictions in Oklahoma County in 1985 and 1992.

Rangers say the girl identified Davis from a photo lineup as the man who took her to Lake Thunderbird on July 11th.
