LAKE TENKILLER (AP) -- A McAlester teenager died Thursday after falling off a cliff and into Lake Tenkiller in Sequoyah County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said.
Brook Leigh Fagundes, 16, fell from Eagle Bluff Point around 4:15 p.m., struck her head on a rock and fell into the water, the highway patrol said. A diver found Fagundes shortly before 5 p.m. in 58 feet of water, the highway patrol said.
Fagundes was pronounced dead at the scene of head injuries.
