An Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper is very fortunate after his car was hit from behind by a semi-truck.

The trooper stopped on the 11th Street Bridge over the Arkansas River to check out an abandoned vehicle and was directing traffic around it.

Officers tell the News on 6 the driver of the truck was trying to read road signs and hit the OHP patrol car. No one was injured in the accident.
