One person was killed in an accident on I-44 late Thursday night. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the driver lost control of the car hit a wall and overturned near 49th West Avenue on I-44.
17-year-old Maria Coachman of Tulsa was thrown from the vehicle, she died at the hospital. Two other people were injured, we don't know their conditions.
The accident backed up traffic on the highway for hours until crews could get things cleaned up.
