OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (AP) _ Sprint Corp. on Wednesday said it secured agreements with the states of Oklahoma and New York to provide wireless voice and data services.

The telecommunications company received a new two-year contract from OneNet, Oklahoma's official telecommunications network. The contract will provide wireless service to various state agencies and public-sector businesses.

Under the contract, Sprint will provide products including Sprint PCS Business Connection, which gives users wireless remote access to e-mail through mobile phones, laptops and handheld devices. The contract also includes Sprint's PCS Ready Link, a nationwide walkie-talkie service.

In New York, Sprint secured a one-year contract to provide service to users including state agencies and political entities with its walkie-talkie service. New York will also have access to the PCS Vision service, which provides mobile connections to the Internet, the agency's network or intranet through a laptop, phone or hand-held device, among other products.
