An Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper shot and killed in the line of duty was honored Tuesday.

State Highway 70 between Waurika and Davidson in southwestern Oklahoma became the Trooper Nikky Green Memorial Highway. The dedication is in honor of Green's service to the public and to law enforcement.

Green was shot and killed last December while investigating a suspicious vehicle. Ricky Malone is charged with Green's murder.
