WIMBLEDON, England (AP) _ Maria Sharapova outplayed two-time defending champion Serena Williams in straight sets Saturday to win Wimbledon at age 17.
Sharapova won 6-1, 6-4 to become the first Russian to win a Wimbledon singles title, and the third youngest women's champion in history.
