There's still no word if any charges will be filed into the death of a 6-month-old boy. Catoosa Police say the boy was apparently left in a hot car all day while his father went to work.
Police say Danny Spitzer was supposed to drop off his son at daycare last Thursday morning. Instead, he went to work at the liquor store he runs on Highway 66 in Catoosa. Police say he didn't realize his mistake until the end of the day.
The baby had been inside for 8 hours, in temperatures that reached the 90's. Spitzer is not in custody.
It will be up to the Rogers County District Attorney to decide whether charges will be filed.
