(Tulsa-AP) -- The Tulsa Drillers are off until Tuesday after finishing the first half of the season with a 1-to-nothing victory yesterday against Midland.
Mike Esposito pitched eight shutout innings and Adonis Harrison singled home the winning run in the bottom of the eighth as the Texas League's East Division champs headed to the All-Star break with a win.
Five Drillers will play in the Texas League All-Star Game in Midland, Texas, tomorrow.
First baseman Ryan Shealy, outfielder Shawn Garrett, shortstop Danny Sandoval and pitchers Jeff Francis and Ryan Speier all earned spots on the East Division team.
Tulsa manager Tom Runnells was also selected as the co-manager of the East squad.
