There's good education news from Tulsa Public Schools. 2004 state test results for 3rd, 5th, and 8th grade students show improvements in ten of 14 categories.
5th and 8th graders showed improved scores in math, reading, science, US history, and writing. 3rd graders improved in reading, math, and language.
TPS Superintendent Dr David Sawyer says with ten categories up, one the same and three down, the district appears to moving in the right direction.
