The driver of a small pickup is lucky to be alive after he took a wild ride. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the driver was on I-244 near Southwest Boulevard, when the tread separated from a tire on the pickup.

The driver lost control and hit the retaining wall causing it to flip. It took safety crews about 45 minutes to get things cleaned up.

Troopers say the driver was wearing a seatbelt which kept him from being thrown from the truck.
