An Oklahoma town is in mourning the death of a fallen soldier. 21-year-old Specialist Kyle Brinlee was killed in Iraq when a roadside bomb blew up his convoy.

Brinlee is a 2001 graduate of Pryor High School. Those who knew him say he was a good student and athlete. He was well liked by students and teachers. Schoolteacher Sarah Craig says the community is devastated by the news.

Kyle was in the first class she taught at Pryor High School four years ago. "It's very hard for me because I've only been a teacher for four years and I knew that I would eventually lose a student and Kyle was my first. I've known him since he was 7, tough to get through."

Brinlee was a National Guardsman with the 120th Combat Engineer Battalion. He had only been in Iraq for three months.
