(Muskogee-AP) -- Law enforcement officers arrested 34 people Wednesday in a major methamphetamine roundup.

The US attorney's office said Wednesday that undercover agents in and around the LeFlore County border town of Pocola conducted a six-month investigation.

They arrested people in eastern Oklahoma and western Arkansas.

The US Drug Enforcement Agency says law enforcement confiscated $7,000 and four weapons.

Le Flore County District Attorney Rob Wallace says that since November, undercover agents have bought more than four pounds of meth worth $200,000 from more than 100 people.

Pocola police found that major meth distributors were using the Choctaw Gaming Center as an operations base.

Most of the cases will be prosecuted in the Eastern District of Oklahoma.
