Several staff members at the Lloyd Rader Center in Sand Springs are recovering after a fight broke out. Officials say rival Tulsa gang members being held there got into the fight.

The center is Oklahoma's maximum security lockup for juveniles. Five staff members tried to stop the fight; they suffered bruises, scraps and cuts.

The Office of Juvenile Affairs reports Rader residents have assaulted staff and other residents 82 times during the first six months of the fiscal year.
