There's a case of sticker shock in the gas gauge Friday. The price for a gallon of regular unleaded went up to a $1.74 at many Tulsa area stations Thursday night.

Other stations we're told are as high as a $1.79. Despite the jump, gas prices here are still some of the lowest in the country.
