An Oklahoma woman is under psychiatric observation after police found her mother's body inside a car in Florida.

Police in Palm Coast say a shopper reported a foul smell coming from a car in a Wal-Mart parking lot. They found the badly decomposed body of Melba Doshier in the passenger seat. The woman apparently died of natural causes. Detectives say Doshier's daughter parked the car, and stayed in the store for 14 hours.

Police say the mother and daughter lived together in Covington. No charges are expected to be filed.
