Stigler teen killed on county road

Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 17-year-old James Leird died at about 3 this morning at the scene of the accident on a county road about four miles northeast of Stigler.

Leird's truck ran off the right side of the road for an unknown reason and overturned. Leird was ejected from the drivers' side window.

Troopers say Leird was traveling at an unsafe speed in foggy conditions.
